A website to provide support and resources for tenants living in buildings owned by Starlight Investments.

Welcome to Tenants of Starlight

A support group for tenants living in Starlight-owned buildings everywhere.

Tenants of Starlight

In 2015, Starlight's contractors began superficial renovations on four buildings in James Bay, Victoria. The renovations were drawn out over years, with numerous Stop Work orders and one full-building evacuation resulting from months of ongoing violations of WorkSafeBC safety regulations resulting in extreme airborne asbestos levels throughout the building. The renovations were undertaken with maximum negative impact on tenant health and wellbeing. This site was developed to assist tenants through Residential Tenancy Disputes to secure rental reductions and refunds during these ongoing, unsafe, uncomfortable conditions - to try to hold Starlight and their contractors accountable.

Tenants of Starlight Mission

We believe Starlight Investments is an organization that does great harm, negatively impacting the lives of millions of tenants throughout Canada and the United States, contributing to poverty and homelessness with their relentless greed.

This website exists to facilitate organization of tenant groups and to support them through whatever legal action may be available to advocate for their rights, to minimize the harm Starlight Investments is able to inflict, and to seek reperatons for the degraded conditions tenants may be suffering in Starlight buildings.
