Providing housing, improving housing, raising housing standards, having a positive impact on individuals and communities, having a set of guiding principles balanced with profitability - after 25 years in business, tenant wellbeing ranks so low on the Starlight team's priority list that it continues to bear no mention.

One singular goal balanced with no other priorities: Superior Investment Results.

Who are Starlight Investments?

A corporation is a business entity designed to protect it's investors and principals from liability - but every day, the individuals that make up a corporation are each making a choice to further that corporation's agenda, each complicit in the impacts that corporation has on others.

When CBC once tried to reach Daniel Drimer to comment on complaints from his tenants, he responded that he prefered to talk to his tenants, not the media.

The leadership team members who choose to prioritize Starlight's greed over tenant wellbeing are listed below. As per Mr Drimer's request, please let them know if you have any concerns about conditions within your building.

Take Action

If you’re a tenant at 350/360 Douglas St or 415/435 Michigan St and aren’t already registered, register for an account to get started. It may not be too late to submit a dispute.

If you’re a tenant at another building, Starlight-owned or otherwise, and you want to organize collective tenant action within your building, please contact the administrator to request your building be added to the database.
